TLC, the legendary girl group trio featuring Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas, announced at the 1996 Grammy Awards, after winning 2 Grammys, that…… “We’re broke as broke can be.”

This came to a surprise to all of the press and millions of fans considering they made history when CrazySexyCool , their sophomore album, reached Diamond status, becoming one of the few albums in history to sell over 10 million copies. It pushed them to global fame and extensive touring opportunities.
